I spent some time with some gingerbread friends, and a dog trying to be santa and my melancholy has turned to Christmas Cheer! I even had a dove chocolate promise, and it had a nice message.

Best EVer gingerbread cookies!!!! My husband and I were fighting over them--even the "burnt" ones. . . followed up with the sweetest note I've received in a long time. It's amazing how a group of women living so far apart, coming together with the common bond of deep sorrow and pain, can produce such great joy and hope everytime we meet! Maybe that's what He meant by His death . . . great pain and sorrow that produces great hope and rejoicing. Thank you Lori for your posts and your friendship this year I feel truly blessed to have you in my life.
